i feel like i've been trolled this whole month. what's the point of the curry adventure again? lol

The point was to show that:



a) it is still a comedy/gag manga, and the conclusion was just that - a gag

b) not everything turns out as you wish, even in a story



It is a message that Hata-sensei is consistently trying to rely to his readers since the famous "This is the kind of manga you are reading" quote of his.

I thought he would give him the jewel once he heard that story. I hope it's not something like keeping that stone has given him all that money.
