Outstanding chapter.

You know the chapter is goddamn brilliant when even Gendo appears to be a decent person..

That scene with Gendo and Yui was very, very powerful. Interesting to see Gendo not turning into that slimy soup.

Everything is in Shinji's hands for sure...

Huh. So, Ritsuko "Tangs" (look in the background of the last panel), but Gendo doesn't. Does that mean that Misato won't get to join Instrumentality and thus be "reborn"?

                        This was actually a bit of a sweet chapter between Yui and Gendo. It'll be interesting to see how Shinji "saves humanity" in the coming chapters.



93 should be out in January.

Not sure why Gendou didn't turn into LCL, but this scene isn't that different from the anime.



In the original, we saw Gendou getting eaten by Unit 01, but Unit 01 was obviously not physically there, since it was in outer space at that time.

Gendou was seeing what he wanted to see, the same way Hyuga saw Misato and Fuyutsuki saw Yui.

Meaning that Gendou wanted to see Shinji taking revenge on him for the things he's done, as atonement.

Where did you get this one, may I ask?

I definitely prefer this scene over the movie but I do miss the whole Shinji choking Asuka scene, thought that was a better approach

Wow, what a great chapter and addition to the story. Yet another great scene added into the manga. I really loved it. Yui and Gendo's conversation was great, and very sad. I feel like this is Gendo's true redeeming moment. He finally remember what it felt like to be a father.

Wow! I feel sad for Gendo? What the heck?!!!

Gendo, I still hate you, but I hate you less now.

So, he doesn't turn into soup? I guess it's gonna happen later
