It was good to finally see a bit more about Shinji's childhood after his mother died and Gendo left him.

but sadamoto's a huge ayanami fan. :P hmmm. we'll see.

i don't really believe in a ShinjiXRei end, i mean, she's like clone of Shinji's mother! i don't think Sadamoto-sensei would go that far... still Asuka is the best choice in my opinion...

Much lower than the end of evangelion

The scene of fears and shinji fears that make history complex in the end of evangelion, here a common shounen.

I don't know what the guy above me is even talking about.

This chapter felt so trippy. I was sad that Asuka had to die. More backstory was revealed about Shinji. So, where does this lead us? Time for the whole Earth to collapse.

Looks like this chapter was originally broken up in 91 and 91.5.

As for 91, it was interesting to see Shinji's childhood. The kid had it rough. I wonder how everyone know about Yui being killed by an experiment?

More Shinji flashback in 91.5. Also showing everyone's AT field disappearing that their souls leaving their bodies. So, I guess that one guy must be a pedo that likes Rei, or something? since he got drowned in Rei. Anyway, all souls are now coming together. That part is the same as EoE, but the Shinji parts are definitely different.

good flashback ep. dont think i've seen much of shinjis past. gendo didnt look as mean or douchey as usual to me either 0_0

thought the same thing here, when i saw him begging i was like: "WTF?! who's that?!" i read somewhere that the manga will have a good ending different from the anime let's just hope for a ShinjiXAsuka ending here xD

We get a peek into the earliest memories of Shinji which have been hidden for all this time. Gendo did look a man completely broken down. Needless to say Shinji's childhood wasn't the most happy one, having such a jerk of a cousin and all.

Everything is being turned into the most primitive state, the proverbial primordial soup. I know its supposed to be soup, but in the manga it looks like....oh well.
