Asuka finally returns at the end of this chapter. I know what's coming, and I can't wait. Rest of the chapter was pretty much the same as EoE, with nothing major to speak of, other than Asuka and Misato trying to get Shinji to pilot the Eva.
I would hate to be in the JSSDF. Much of the invading force would have been injured or killed by the N2 bomb and the ensuing missile strike when it looked like the military would be able to clear Nerv Headquarters in due time.
A lot of death and Destruction, the non-combatants at Nerv never stood a chance. Shinji still stays adamant that he doesn't wish to pilot, though maybe Misato can get him back to his senses. Asuka has woken up at the bottom of the lake and Gendo has found Rei at the site of the Dummy System.
So the new chapter is out finally and it seems to be following the movie End Of Evangelion almost word for word, but with some parts filled in to make it less ambiguous.
Rei looking at the sea of broken parts of her own clones was kinda spooky. Misato might slap some sense of urgency into Shinji. Asuka has also woken up , must to her dismay that she's useless at her current state.
