                        This Shinji is different than the one in the anime; he is still somewhat together as seen by his rejection of Koworu. His despair has not yet turned into desperation.

Looks like Kaworu and Seele are about to make their move. It will be interesting to see Shinji have to fight Kaworu all on his own.

Gendo's already despicable as it is, so it didn't shock me that much that he ate Adam. Shinji realizes the one truth that has been hovering around him for some time now, that all of his friends, all his loved ones are separated from him in one way or another. Kaworu seems to have some doubts regarding the motives of SEELE.

As for SEELE, quite frankly the worst part of Eva imho. They sound like a pathetic cult. I was hoping the manga would manage to gape this massive flaw that was present in the anime, but oh well.

Bro Kaworu is becoming emo like Shinji now. Sad to see he's lost everyone that gave him purpose to pilot the eva in the first place

The highlight of the chapter was definitely the scene between Kaworu and Shinji. At this point Shinji has lost pretty much every one he cares for aside from Misato who he doesn't mention, though he was talking about friends. Oh, and Gendo actually eating Adam? Damn.

Quite the good chapter in term of information, the end is near.
