Apparently it's volume 7 too so confusing with the chapters constantly switching from left to right

Yes finally Kaworu is foreshadowed early on and the story is finally getting really good. I'm starting to prefer this version over the anime. Idk how they're gonna portray Shinji's psychology in his stasis tho

                        It looks like Kaworu (Tabris) will have much more time in the manga than he did in the anime.

That face of Unit 01 makes me cackle up and shiver at the same time...

Yet again the manga surprises with bringing Kaworu so early. I guess that means we'll learn more about him that what we did from the anime.

Predictably, Asuka is way too much upset atm.

So Kaworu is already showing up, this should be interesting.

Kaworu finally showed up, much better than movie 01 where they showed him immediately

The fallout of the last Eva fight. Rei wakes up in the hospital, Asuka is frustrated over her failure and having to be "saved" by Shinji, and Misato is desperate to rescue Shinji who has been turned into LCL.



This is all the same, but the most interesting part is Seele alluding to Kaji having "outlived his usefulness" and them having a "Tabris" apparently strike.



Btw, Unit-01's creepy ass smile throughout the chapter was......distracting. Was it watching them?

Kaworu already? In the after part of volume 7 it says that this volume was published in 2002. This was quite awhile after the anime, and Kaworu had a massive fanbase considering he was just in the one episode. So i'm guessing that's why the manga version is going to have more Kaworu.
