I actually wasn't expecting Pedro to get so much attention here. Honestly, I wasn't feeling this sort of "detour" at all at first. But, the so far well done back story for Pedro and what this situation could have as an effect on Elijah, has definitely renewed my interest.

I really don't get what is so great about Manuela, she is literally a heroin addicted prostitute ... Definitely not worth getting all fussy over ... Well whatever, though surprised that Pedro is getting so much attention.
