I've already seen I Robot references, Blade Runner references and now Ghost In The Shell. Not really a problem, and I feel that these references give this remake of the Tezuka story more texture and realism.

All in all, gonna take a break before diving into volume 4.

No sane man would ever make a reference to I Robot in their own work.

Yeah I think he meant more like an homage, not an actual reference. The way dreams are used here to humanize Gesicht and other robots is reminiscent of I, Robot, and the idea of implanted artificial memory is handled similarly to Ghost in the Shell. There are of course a lot more similarities as well.

so Pluto is a wandering soul that travels from body to body....okay

I figured that it wasn't Pluto's real body since there's no reason for him to have a humanoid one too.

so Pluto is a wandering soul a robot without an artificial intelligence only remotely controlled like a toy

I think even the robots are surprised at the depth of the emotions they are feeling. And it very much reminded me of I Robot .

Very good chapter.
