The manga started to go downhill since the introduction of weapon fighters.
Also quite stupid to create such a clear division between bare hand fighters and weapon fighters, when in fact you'll often see a very strong karateka use weapons during some training classes. (speaking from personal experience)
Also the two clown weapon masters in this episode were rather a comic element.
Nonetheless the biggest issue is the fact that the manga doesn't show any actual counter movements such as deflecting or disarming ...
A real fight with the same scenario lasts about 9 seconds.
You get attacked you break an arm, you break a leg, you hit the jaw, disarm the opponent or hit and kill the opponent. Seriously these fighting scenes are starting to be outrageously uninteresting and unrealistic.
The fights have always been over-the-top. Where have you been the last 500 chapters?

Last chapter Akisame flipped a car with one hand and now it gets unrealistic.
These guys are already out, they just don`t realize it yet I expect to see em next chapter collapsing.

Looks like those guys are no joke, let's see how long will they be able to stay in the game.
And no chapter again? As I remember right we didn't have a chapter last week either. :/
Yeah which was strange since it had been forever since the last time the series was on break. I could be wrong but usually with double issues it means the magazine as a whole takes the following week off. And since it's resuming in ANOTHER double week issue that means we'll have another week off then too. My guess might be the holidays, but who knows?
