written at c53Will edit the review when I read more, but for now I have a good first impression because I like the fact that instead of the usual cat-and-mouse game that happens between MC and ML where half the novel is in the "ambiguous phase" of the relationship, in this one ML basically just short of kidnapps MC and has her write the marriage certificate in the first 5% of the novel after knowing her for less than a month. Sure, now they still have to get their actual deeper relationship going, but being freshly married I assume a lot of the "usual drama" will play out quite differently in this novel. Anyways an interesting premise IMO.So if you're looking for a novel with a decisive black-bellied male-yandere overbearing president ML, this one has that particular trope down to a T. edit c160ok I see the problems other users pointed out in their reviews now. the most annoying thing is that MC is basically to s*upid to take care of herself but still VOLUNTARILY charges into danger at every given opportunity and ML has to heroically show up at the last opportunity to bail her out. Spoiler
Imagine if instead of just getting Kidnapped, Bowser regularly invites Princess Peach to a Birthday party or something, and Princess Peach accepts and goes out ON HER OWN without Mario directly to Bowsers Castle, where she gets captured and have Mario come and save her...
... only for her to learn absolutely nothing and just happily accept Bowsers next invitation and stroll to his castle ALL ALONE, again, and again, and again.
[collapse]At this point ML should step up in his overbearing male-yandere game and just lock her up at home in a golden cage and throw away the key, and only let her out again in a few years after he has dealt with everyone who could potentially wish harm or scheme against MC. I usually like it if even the Yandere-ML gives MC a bit of freedom and allows her to make her own desicions, but in this case it would really be for her own good if she got "the beloved, but kind of ret*rded pet better kept at home or on a short leash" treatment.
