Gunnm Chapter 11 Discussion

Así es la triste realidad Yugo. Jamás llegaras a Zalem.

                        Hugo wasn't conned, he's just a dumb naive idiot. It's as easy as that.

Heartbreaking ending. Rereading Gunnm after all these years, and Volume 2 still remains my favorite.

This shit was painfully obvious from the start. 



Yugo is so pitiful man.. and I can't wait till we touch up more about Ido. 

I guess Zapan didn't die, at least its not confirmed. Alita just destroyed his face, but his brain was still intact before falling over the edge of the building.

Ido and Gon used a cyborg body and transplanted Yugo's head onto it to keep him alive. Ido reveals that the symbol on his forehead is proof that he is from Zalem, but he was casted out and there's no way to go back. Yugo overhears this and gets upset charging at him unwilling to accept the truth that he was naïve.

Yugo and Alita pay Vector a visit and Yugo is upset to find out the truth. Vector gets scared and calls in his backup, which is dealt with quickly by Alita. The chapter ends with Yugo lifting up Vector by the neck with this somber look on his face.

Come on Yugo, you can't be made for being dumb and believing what you wanted.

Yugo was kinda dumb tbh. Other than that we get to know that Ido was actually a citizen of Zalem, intresting. I wonder why he was cast out.
