Finally over! Definitely one of my favorite fights in the series.





I was reading some comments at the onemanga forums and just have to shake my head.



Some fans are complaining that because Hongo beat Jenazad it means he's stronger than the elder (Hayato).



Stupid much?



IIRC it was said the Elder had a tough time against Jenazad which is a compliment but nothing more than that IMO.



For all we know the elder was only using 1% of his total strength and Jenazad managed to defend himself to the elder's surprise because anyone else would've been KO'd or killed.



And IIRC the elder then had to leave and abandon the match. It wasn't some epic fight to the death just a quick skirmish...



Also it's already implied that Mikumo Kushinada is the most powerful Yami member (besides Saiga) given her age & experience and even calling Jenazad "a youngster" and not even flinching when he tried to attack her while she was training at a pool.



Jenazad was powerful no doubt, but he was also very overrated. Anyone who thinks he's the same level as the elder, Saiga and Mikumo is kidding themselves.



I'm glad Hongo won. Will power always triumphs IMO. Plus like all shonen, good always win. Jenazad would've died eventually.
