my boy takehisa finally getting some development. glad they didn't end the series with him still not realizing Kitano is just a normal ass dude. there was some hints before of him kinda realizing it that's why i felt he was always being overprotective of Kitano

I really like Takehisa, he's like #2 on the funny scale in this manga, after Kitano of course.

I've always thought throughout this manga Takehisa has to have gotten hints that Kitano isn't an actual thug. Despite being rash about fighting he always seemed more collected than the other delinquents. I'm glad that he values his friendship with Kitano so highly.
