Code Name wa Sailor V Chapter 15 + 16 Discussion

I think "slut" is kind of a harsh word... Boy-crazy, yeah, but I wouldn't say she was a slut.



Either way, that was a pretty good finale. I do think that the backstory bits were somewhat rushed but... Considering the way that this manga was published, I can't really complain about it.

Not sure why anyone in this thread is calling Minako a slut. Pretty ridiculous when she’s not an adult and not even sleeping around. She’s allowed to “fall in love” with guys if that’s part of her character trait. Venus is the planet of “love” to begin with.



Anyway, this manga was basically filler and it felt very last minute that Minako only recalled her memories in the last chapter. It could’ve been a better read overall. I did like the tidbits about her involvement with the police. I wish it was elaborated more in the story. I give this a rating of 5/10.

Nice comedic prequel to Sailor moon.

I didn't like the fact that most men were portrayed as 'players' in this manga,

but .. meh, Minako was portrayed as a 'slut' so... I guess it balances it out.

Well that was sailor-v, it was a nice prequel, didn't like most of volume 2 except for the final chapters 14,15&16.

The first two chapters of the manga were nice and I liked 5, 7 and 8. The rest? mostly meh.



I liked Minako but this isn't quite how I remember her, I know she's similar to Usagi but thought the way Mina acts

was a bit all over the place and the villain of the week formula and lack of focus on the story doesn't help her at all.



I think this manga hasn't aged that well, some of the humor just doesn't work like it tries very hard at times

and its very busy so it took me twice as long to read, the chapters are long and its a mini-omnibus so that makes sense.



I was looking for something short and enjoyable and I got that, will read sailor moon one day too but for now i'll take a short break, since

most of the villain of the week stuff was very exhausting.

Minako's boy craze was always fun to watch/read.

(The "slut" reaction amazes me, are people seriously talking like that about crush-drugged schoolgirls? This is nothing incredible.)

No, it was a Venus symbol. It just happens that we use the Venus and Mars symbols nowadays to figure sexes.

It's usually the guy who has a nosebleed in manga/anime but here we go, I guess Minako had too much of love xD

I feel it would work better if we saw some of the characters here brought up the "main" series, specially the police duo (perhaps just a confirmation if they end up together), but as it stands pretty good.
