History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 407 Discussion

Fanservice and Apachai's going to survive. Negative grading for this chapter. I guess Kenichi couldn't stick to good chapters after the last three consecutive ones. Apachai should have stayed dead. Him surviving cheapens everything he did so far in his fight.

I believe this storyline is really stupid. Apachi should’ve died

I also wanted Apachai to not survive this and really die, but then I thought, who would teach Kenichi Muay Thai if he died. He wouldn't be the strongest disciple if he hasn't received complete training from all the arts he's studying. So yeah, Apachai will live.

I accepted this fact before this chapter. But it's really disappointing to not see a casualty in the good side.

With this, this arc is over. But I forget, why did they attack in the first place? :3

I think if Apachai died, it would of been a great scene, a very memorable moment in the series.



However, I really love Apachai, and I can accept it if he lives :P

wow...after the last few chapters thinking apachai was a sure goner(and all them fake tears for him), we find out that Akisame is a Death-defying surgeon who "cheats God"...



...only highlight I liked from this chapter is Mui getting more screen time in her shredded gear as well as Shigure in her fundoshi(well anything with Shigure is always worth mentioning, even if its only in one page)

Yeah. I honestly think these people should watch some soap operas or some dramas. I mean, don't you want to see a character's potential or how relevant they can be in future events in the story? Not too long ago these people were sad or bawling at the idea of Apachai dying. And now they're upset that he's alive 😑

The fanservice has ruined it several times for me throughout this series. Sometimes just because it's impossible how some pieces of clothing 'stick' to their bodies. But since this isn't really a realistic manga, I'll forgive those mistakes.



And for the story, Apachai should really have died, but the fact that Akisame can save him makes sense. He is indeed a masterdoctor as well and has saved Kenichi several times as well.



Man, I cried like a bitch during those panels where Kenichi cries, eventhough I spoiled myself on a wiki.
