Translation quality is alright, but the narrative itself is just kinda dumb. The MC's power makes no sense: I'm an alchemist...Spoiler
and I've been sealing monsters in barriers? You know, alchemists, famous for their barriers.
[collapse].The MC's personality makes no sense. He is super OP and gets kicked from the party because nobody realizes how important he is. You've seen this plot a hundred times, but this is the worst implementation I've seen. There's no attempt at explaining anything, MC did everything without telling anyone anything. It's not a misunderstanding, the MC would have to present something to be misunderstood. He doesn't.The MC's motivation makes no sense. He get's kicked and then decides, I'm going to undo everything I've done. It's not even a "revenge" thing. SpoilerIt's straight up "It's tiring maintaining these barriers, btw, if I weren't maintaining these barriers, I have more magic than everyone else on the continent combined.
[collapse].And then you just have the thinnest most dull tropes possible. He goes to unseal a dragon and it attacks him. Guess what happens when he beats it? Go on. You know what happens... SpoilerIt turns into a beautiful girl and decides MC is it's master... because of course it does. Wouldn't be an overpowered protagonist plot without a heroine that worships the ground MC walks on, for no reason."
[collapse]The antagonists are so poorly written and dull that every single time they're talking it's just to talk about how useless the MC was. Oh, the world has been thrown into turmoil, we can handle it, we're even stronger because the weak and useless OP isn't with us. (that is actually the thought process of one of them). It's that "The whole world revolves around the MC even for people who don't like him or know anything about what he's doing" thing.I was suspect of the bad reviews, but this is really one of the worst implementations of an already generic plot I've ever seen.
