She goes about getting revenge in a very weird roundabout way that doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. Her grudge is against the government that tortured and killed her for being related to a father she never met, yet she's taking it out on a criminal underworld that had absolutely nothing to do with her death. It's explained as her needing to form a contract with a soul to consume its power, but the investment isn't anywhere near worth the minor boost. With the powers she's exhibited she could easily end the kingdom via crop failure and famine, then take the souls of the people resentful that the government couldn't or wouldn't help them. Then once powered up from the resentful souls of an extreme famine she could easily raid the palace.Instead she becomes the exact thing she hates when she possess the body of a kid and just kinda crushes their soul into paste for convenience. She doesn't even try to talk to what is by all means a legally and morally upstanding 11 year old who was totally innocent in the earlier story before doing something worse than mu*der.TLDR the author suffers from the "IDK how to human" trope that is so common in LNs.
