World style: It is a modern urban fantasy version of the Roman Empire filled with tragedy and political intrigue. I have never liked the drama genre, but I like this.Writing style: This story is exceptionally well-written yet highly complex. The best way to describe the writing style is to take the writing style of one piece and the social slice-of-life and character development elements of Yu Yu Hakusho and combine them with a highly complex yet prolonged Shakespearean tragedy. The story is written at a slow pace. I am on chapter 102, and it feels narratively like I am still on the opening introduction. Yet it somehow keeps me intrigued, even though it is this slow-paced.Spoiler
The MC is fragile at the beginning as he literally is riddled with cancer including a magical cancer that affects his heart and mana source. This is a survival and weak to strong story. Please look at the tags before reading this story.
