As a sci-fi it doesn’t stand too much, the world building is convoluted and weird to understand. The space jumps, physics related subjects and technology are not that well explained so if you’re reading for those elements, this is not the story for you.

Also the court drama and external conflicts are not that much interesting (in my opinion) BUT the most enjoyable part for me is the way omegas are portaid in this book.

Spoiler

The omega resistance is super interesting, specially everything related to Ling Yu and Rosen, for sure my favorite couple just due to the longing and drama. Also Ling Yu is hilarious, and I enjoyed the main 4 characters interactions and dynamic.

Some part are predictable, but still enjoyable. The characters are all unique enough for you to care, but my biggest complain, even more than plot, is the excess of couples.

Like.... everyone gets someone, every family member’s relationship gets explored and it gets tiring after a while. I’m a Lin Yuan and Caesar enthusiast and cared about them the most, and Ling Yu and Rosen were there form the begging I and loved how their relationship was explored

but after a while, I didn’t cate for the other side couples much.

overall is a solid story, that defies some things I’ve seen in ABO and explores more the omega side of things, specially in a rough society like theirs. Love it and can’t wait for the translation to catch up!!! (Good and solid translation! Conveys the story very well, super thankful). Worth the read !.

I'm sorry it seems as though their are holes in the story. I understand that poison ivy is Kamila, but who took the poison? how did Randle and the president get involved? I thought the president was an allied? what's going on? who's attempting to bring down the Petrov?
