WORDS cannot describe how much OF A CHOKEHOLD this novel has on me. BINGE READ 360+ CHAPTERS IN A WEEKEND, READ 400+ MORE IN THREE DAYS BY BUYING THE TRANSLATORS PATREON. 100% worth the money!!! The novel takes the slow in slowburn and multiples it by 2x but is so worth it for the romance! Author does an amazing job at developing the relationship between the MC & ML and I really enjoyed the different arcs, there's rarely a slow moment in the story and so many of the side characters aren't plain or forgettable and are instead incredibly fleshed out! Live, love, laugh Ever, Lusan, Enon, Nathan, & Kanna my favorite side characters :) Also Kiolle, the character development is real.
[collapse] The chemistry between the MC, Yuder, and the ML, Kishiar is so AMAZING, I physically scream at how adorable they are! Every interaction between the two is always so endearing and loving!! Both deeply care for the other & complement each other well! I cannot urge enough that this novel is an absolute must read. ML IS SUCH A GREEN FLAG, HE'S AN ENTIRE FOREST. Kishiar is such a fresh breath of air in the world of ML's, he COMMUNICATES, IS CARING, ATTENTIVE, PATIENT, TALENTED, STRONG, HANDSOME, and I CAN GO ON AND ON UNTIL THE MANWHA FOR THE NOVEL IS FINISHED.THE MC, YUDER IS INCREDIBLE. I LOVE HIM SM, HE'S SMART, RATIONAL, POWERFUL, UNFORGIVING, AND OVERALL HE'S JUST A BADASS. Yuder might seem cold and heartless but to those close to him we see he has a subtle affectionate and caring side of him!! He has trouble identifying and regonizing his emotions but this doesn't prevent him from taking the initiative in his relationship with the ML and reciprocating the affection given to him! MC & ML are such a power couple and they're just SO MNKN FNRIJCBIRHAND WHY CANT I HAVE A LOVE LIFE LIKE THEIRS??? EVERYTHING ABT THEM MAKES ME GO BATsh*t CRAZY /posthe novel not being more popular is gut wrenching and I really do hope it attracts a larger audience, I've seen folk drop the novel because of the "ML being a "womanizer" and the A/B/O elements in the story. KISHIAR IS NOT A WOMANIZER‼️‼️‼️ Although I can't say much about people's preferences about A/B/O I do think the way the author uses it in the novel is well done and enhances the story greatly. I also think the author focuses on other aspects of the story more than just the romance, but when they happen they're unforgettable and great! Feeds you until the next time :D There are steamy moments but it's a slowburn for a reason, so expect to wait for it! Generally I don't think this novel would be for you if you're looking for a quick developing relationship or immediate smut. In my heart the novel is perfect, 10s across the board, but I know it's not the best of the best and won't live up to everyone's expectations. Still I believe it's worth a read, even if the genre or story doesn't fully align with your taste! This review is mostly just me ranting about my adoration for the novel but if my words are of any help to your choice about starting the novel, I'm glad!
