It’s a nice well written novel for the most part. The starting chapters were very interesting and got me hooked but as I read on it became less interesting and the ending was underwhelming. I think the author was in a hurry to finish the novel as most of the fun parts happened at the middle then the latter half of the novel was just about the mc’s mostly smooth rise to success. The ending was so out of the blue that I was like wait what? It’s over?I wanted to know more about the side characters but since this is a relatively short novel I guess there was no time for that. I was also really invested in the side pairing but was caught off guard by the switch. Also as some reviewers pointed out, the love is too sudden. However I still enjoyed it and recommend it if you’re into rebirth with underground/mafia and entertainment themes.
