The best thing about this novel is there is no angst, this is not a dog blood drama like many Chinese novels. The writing style is quite funny, but when something is overly funny is becomes boring. That is what happened here. The plot is very simple and this was a light hearted read all along.The MC is always trying not to be a cannon fodder and succeeds that with flying colours. It has to be mentioned that, more than the romance between MC and ML, the novel highlights the love of MC's older brother who dotes on his sister very much in his own way. This should be a good novel after reading an emotional one to relax one's mind. Recommended.
