Great so far! Not sure why that other review gave such a low rating for things not being "explained". It's clear we're dealing with a mystery and family drama, the author is purposefully withholding a straight forward explanation in favor of "show, don't tell" narrative. Based on the way things are going I think there will be an eventual explanation but that will likely be after ML is honest about his s*x.FL is spunky and motivated, and sometimes thoughtless. ML is quiet, sassy, and anxious (for lots of reasons). Both have points of character growth as they learn from each other. Romance is slow but that's ok, as you're seeing the building blocks for their future relationship get built one by one.Other characters seem decently fleshed out and dynamic. The world itself isn't explained in detail but implied via story events.The translation is a delight! Very fluid and easy to read.
