I disagree with characters being 2d. Despite how preachy the writting is getting into, author did invest in some characterization. With their own back stories and reasoning. I would not say it is good. But just average and readable. But yes... preachy a lot.

Aside from, setting has some semblance with "streamer" like stories like ORV. But not as good as ORV.
