If you wish to truly enjoy this novel, you should give this novel at least 30 chapters before you decide whether it's good or not.The novel starts with the classic trope of "I got reincarnated into a novel I read in my past life, " with a classic academy setting and superpowered humans. However, the world is actually much darker than we thought. This story has two main strengths: it's MC and atmosphere.At the beginning of the story, the MC decided to volunteer for being the bread shuttle for the Sylvia, which is questionable and frustrating no matter how you look at it. But as the story progressed, we realized that the MC did all of that in order for himself to survive the longest, because Sylvia is one of the characters in the novel that survived to the end. The MC is very mentally unwell, and as he knows the tragic ending of the novel, he decides to not think about his current situation in order for his mentally to preserve. This is also why this novel has such little descriptions on objects in the earlier chapters and why the MC adjusted so quickly to being transported to a different world; it's all because the MC doesn't want to get attached to the world and people because they know they are all going to die. A lot of thought is put into making the MC, including his backstory, the body he possessed's backstory, his actions, his personality, and his character developments.The atmosphere of this novel is a perfect blend of heaviness and comedy. The misunderstandings and MC's jokes are funny, but they make the suffering even more sad.The side characters are amazing as well. As other reviewers mentioned, the original MC, Yoon Siwoo, and Sylvia are pretty annoying in the first 20 chapters. However, they are just making decisions influenced by their emotions. Once their emotions and misunderstandings cleared up, they became actually good and kind characters. Long story short, give this novel 30 chapters. You won't regret it.Can we talk about how nice the MC's name sounds? Like, Scarlet Evande. Evande is such a nice name, it's crazy.
