ML's father has been unfaithful to his mother and has several mistresses (I think it was 5 when the story starts). His mother couldn't cope with that and started having mental problems because of that. His father has several children with several mistresses.
When ML was 12 yo (?) his mother committed su*cide and he was kidnapped. He was experimented on by ruthless doctors. They injected him with snake dna and other things, which makes him very strong and heal very fast, but also causes mental problems.
He escaped and destroyed that place because he became too strong for them to handle.
Every now and then he has a mental outbreak and becomes very violent. It is very difficult to restrain him when he is like that. A lot of bodyguards and large dogs can't handle him.
Only MC can help him when he is in that state. ML has been looking for clues about the one (s) who kidnapped him, but he hasn't been able to find any.
His grandparents have taken in their 2nd eldest grandson from one of the mistresses when ML was kidnapped. The other children are not added to the family tree and are not welcome at the Bo family estate.
However this grandson and his mother keep causing problems because they want to take over the Bo family. In his previous life MC was in love with this 2nd grandson and betrayed ML a lot of times because of him. However in the end MC was killed by him, after which ML took revenge and killed the brother and his accomplices. Right after that committed su*cide because he couldn't live without him. At that time his mental state and health were already very bad.
[collapse]ML's kidnapperSpoilerML's 3rd unce kidnapped ML in the past and is responsible for his mother's death. He is the one who experimented on ML.
He comes back after ML's grandfather had a stroke and causes him to have another stroke and leaves him lying in his office without medicine.
Grandfather knew his son had psychological problems and sent him abroad. He had been torturing animals and a psychiatrist concluded he had no feelings for others.
[collapse]MCSpoilerMC was switched in the hospital when he was born. His parents found out about this when he was 18 and then brought their real son, who was living in an orphanage, back. They blames MC for having enjoyed a good life for 18 years, moved him to a small room in their house and started treating him badly.
MC has been trying to make it ul with them, by doing everything they want.
However in his previous life they tried to sell him to a dirty old man for a business deal. MC escaped him by knocking him unconscious and was saved by ML who liked him for years and had been watching him for years (apparently because he gave him a candy when ML was young).
MC had been in love with ML's half-brother, but married ML. Apparently he was trying to help the half-brother? He was very afraid of ML who could become very violent. He betrayed ML lots of times to help the half-brother (giving information, poisoning ML, etc).
However MC's adoptive parents wanted him dead and he was killed by the half-brother. The half-brother was then tortured and killed by ML in revenger. After that ML committed su*cide. MC saw what happened after his death.
When he was reborn he decided to only love ML from then on. He immediately starts living with him, but is afraid of having interc**rse because of how violent ML was with him in his previous life. ML builds this up slowly in this life, to get MC used to it.
MC has been learning jade carving from a master and is very good. In his previous life he let his brother join a jade carving contest with his works. This helped his brother and ML's half-brother cause all kinds of problems for ML. In this life he sets them up and wins the contest himself. He gives them subpar jade carvings he made.
[collapse]The endSpoilerML's 3rd uncle kidnaps his father from the hospital and demands that ML comes to him. He lets him drink something to get him under his control.
MC manages to drug everyone and let them faint. He brings ML to the hospital where he recovers.
[collapse]Loose endsSpoilerI may have forgotten some, but here are the most important things I miss
-ML's grandfather had a 2nd stroke and was expected not to recover. His son kidnaps him and he is freed by MC. MC had been trying to help him recover with accupuncture. We don't know what happens to grandfather. Will he recover?
-One of ML's bodyguards also was an experiment from the same institution. He was badly affected when he smelled the doctor who experimented on him. He was given the same drug as ML which would make him follow all the doctor's demands. I don't know what happens to him after he is freed.
-I don't know what happens to grandma when she finds out what her 3rd son did.
-In the story it is said that the life expectancy of ML is about 35 because of the experiments done on him. MC finds some medicine that will help with his mental state. However I don't know if these will let him live longer.
-We meet another couple in the story. The gong helps MC get medicine that can help with ML's mental state. The shou is a jade carver like MC, but had his hand injured by people around his gong and can't do that work anymore. He blames his gong. I kinda expected MC to heal him with his accupuncture, but that doesn't happen.
-MC's family is left destitute. I would have liked to have known at least the real brother's end.
