Such a fun novel, with unique character settings and a very humorous setup between a second year physics PHD student moonlighting as a voice actor, and a voice-con first year grad student under the same advisor, with a cosplaying side gig. There's a 4 year age gap (MC 21 and ML 25) and the ML technically is in a position of power as the MC's senior, but the two of them mostly just interact as equals. Both main characters have interesting personalities, and I especially liked how the "cold" ML actually turned out to be quite teasing and straightforward with a surprisingly high EQ. He's not some unfeeling block of ice, and I laughed so hard to all his reactions to MC's cosplaying and (very much unintentional) flirting. The MC is a bit oblivious, but not unbelievably so, and he's able to catch on when the facts are laid out in front of him.The writing style is concise and the plot moves quickly, without dragging any particular plot point on for too long. My only minor issue was with the slightly excessive amount of text conversations and fan comments in some chapters. I will say though that as the novel progressed, I did feel that it became better balanced between the real life interactions to the messaging/social media, or at least I didn't mind it as much.Overall this is a lighthearted read, without anything too complex or emotional, but still very much enjoyable! The characters are relatable and three-dimensional, and their interactions made for some really hilarious moments of dramatic irony. I think I read this entire novel with a smile on my face. Would recommend!
