First let me begin saying the translator is amazing. Their translation is really good. I like the MC's personality. The plot itself is... it's there. But not well paced out at all. For once, the novel is worse than the manhwa adaptation, just because we get to skip a lot of the dumb thoughts of side characters in the manhwa. The villains are dumb and very very 1 dimensional. And we get chapters filled with just their dumb and illogical thoughts.Like, do we really have to read two chapters back-to-back of Yurikarina (or whatever her dumb name is) talking about how she's the cutest princess alive and that father (emperor) loves her best? Or a whole chapter of Dianna thoughts which is comprised of her being delusional about her relationship with ML and how everyone falls for her manipulation because of her being her brother's sister? And how she's looking forward to MC's downfall so that she can finally marry the ML? Do we really need that? We got about 8 full chapters of Dianna's dumb thoughts. Write a paragraph about that and call it a day! Why are we getting chapters after chapters that adds nothing to the plot.Secondly, what business? It's literally in the title that she wants to make money... but in 70 chapters, she mentioned her business like 2 times in passing but made no move to make that happen. It took around chapter 120 for her to start the prototype and hire one person. The novel is only like 180 chapters long!Thirdly, how many times are we going to get the description of her beautiful lilac silver hair and amethyst eyes? We get it, she looks perfect like an angel. Ms. Author, you don't have to repeat this every couple of chapters. WE REMEMBERED HOW SHE LOOKS LIKE OK? WE GET IT.Lastly, at this point, is there any Korean novels where the ML and MC didn't have a chance encounter as a child where ML grows to be so in love with her a decade later still? While also not recognizing the grown-up version of her. This is honestly so s*upid and felt insanely forced. This series is basically 35% mean dumb characters talking about how they deserve everything the MC gets because MC is a half-wit unloved imprisoned princess. 45% on the description of MC's appearance and the detailed description of the food she's eating. Then 20% plot.
