This is the best Korean novel I've read. It's so good that back when the translation of it was awful I made myself endure it just so I could continue reading to enjoy the story.I'm glad it has much more attention now and is getting re-translated by more groups.The pace for this novel is slow, but that's because the author takes a lot of care to build the world and its settings properly.The protagonist and all the characters of the story have realistic personalities - meaning that they feel like actual beings in another world. They all have their own motivations and thoughts and goals and the plot moves forward due to them having their own agendas and trying to accomplish them, not the other way round, like a lot of novels are.I love the MC, Cho Eushin. He embodies what real dedication, perseverance and intelligence working together in a human is like. I respect him from the bottom of my heart and I'm sometimes even kinda envious that the people he cherishes has someone like him in their lives in that world. At the same time, I'm very happy that those characters are in his life too, because they all deserve each other and I really wish nothing but happiness to all of them. T_TIf you are the type that pays attention to details and can remember them for very long, then this novel is absolutely for you because the author writes in a very long term way and mysteries mentioned early in are actually solved or resolved or revealed bit by bit naturally.I can't count the number of times I have reread the novel, even though it's far from ending yet, because with each reread I discover and notice new things and connections I miss from initial reads.
