What a rushed and annoying ending. Some of the stories and misunderstandings are fun. It was great - albeit predictable - up until they go to America (last 100 chapters) where the writer very clearly threw out everything they had been hinting towards and went on a LAZY downwards spiral. I mean using real movies is such a copout. BTW most people have already seen these movies irl so why would anyone want a lengthy breakdown of a sh*ttier light novel version. Author was obviously not talented or confident enough to come up with a "movie" that would realistically blow up in Hollywood.This author constantly rushed through things that they should have expanded on. Introduced characters just to immediately have them disappear. Abandoned set-ups that would have worked perfectly, out of laziness. Repeated things that were truly not great in the first place. (whats the chance that he saves two different people from life threatening situations, causing them to fall in love and giving him great publicity???)
[collapse] Follow this all up with a wet dream like reality where actual movies had their actors replaced by the MC and he's totally different. Seriously the least satisfying ending. I should have just stopped reading after Cannes. Then I wouldn't need to brush my teeth in an effort to get this rotten taste out of my mouth.ALSO NO CHARACTER GROWTH HAPPENS THROUGHOUT THE STORY. He's just watching as life changes around him. What a loser.
