Super mediocre. Very bland. But enjoyable enough to spend some time with if you like this kind of wish fulfillment novel.Main character is a big Gary Stu type. All the characterization is very superficial. Most of the content is people being gullible and awestruck by him. Then them making up tales about what his background must be to explain his abilities. At one point very early in the story he rejects a project involving a famous person. His new colleagues only know he's a good actor, otherwise a rookie with no confirmed experience. They can't believe he'd reject it. He says it's his instinct... and they just immediately believe he must have amazing instincts. It doesn't even cross their mind that he might be, you know, wrong. Instead the author writes several paragraphs about them being astounded at his intuition. One of them decides to worship him. Uh, okay, but maybe wait until he's proven right or not, though?Author recycles characters heavily even though it wouldn't be hard to write a different character because none of them have any particular personality. So out of his first 8 jobs, 5 of them include the same female actress. As if there's only two total female actresses and, since this one is more popular, she gets more than half of the jobs.IMO most examples of this subgenre I've read previously are the same or better. For example, Versatile Superstar is a better version of this subgenre (though he's more focused on music).
