I was gonna pass up on this book bc of the spoiler given in another review and I'm glad I gave it a chance. The romance between the characters felt right. It felt natural. Two people who wanted something out of the other happen to fall in love after spending more and more time together. I loved how the MC was realistic in his demands. He wanted a love he deemed perfect and nothing is wrong with that.I'll have to somewhat disagree with bellus11 Spoiler
the runaway trope is always annoying but I don't think we can say he was running away exactly since the trip abroad was pre-planned. I do wish the breakup was face-to-face but the breakup was necessary. The ML was very unsure of his feeling by the time of the MC's confession (nothing wrong with this) but if I remember correctly he wasn't sure he'd be able to reciprocate so I think the MC was right to give him space to allow him to figure it out
[collapse]Loved how the story wrapped up also loved Spoilerhow they were both equally obsessed with each other and wasn't shy about it
