Putting 2 stars cause this book, for the first 30 chapters, made it very hard for me to continue. Dropping it because of 1 specific issue that I'm surprised no one is talking about: the g*ooming and child like themes.

Spoiler

In the first arc, MC basically groomed ML since he was 11-13. Of course it wasn't the bastardly kind, but it feels so odd to read about how an adult (cause MC is a celestial being here and hence doesn't age) takes care of a child from young until grown up, and then proceeds to be a couple. I wouldn't have been so grossed out by it if the author didn't kept on insisting about how MC is taking care of a child every 2 chapters. MC knows his actions are despisable, but like he says, he didn't have nice intentions to begin with. He purposely tried to make ML all dependent on him with the hopes that he would come to fall in love MC. Thank god ML already knew who he was before this, and thank the gods that MC wouldn't have done this if it wasn't ML inside the body. If not I would have been more disgusted. This is where I realised they are both crazy, because low and behold ML became a semi yandere and locked MC in.

See, I thought that was the end. I'm fine with child like themes found in bottoms, cause it seems that I can't ever run away from phrases like "I took care of him, he is like my child" and "so cute, sweet, naive with watery round eyes" but the second arc really takes it to the next level.

Spoiler

In the second arc, MC is basically autistic. I'm not even gonna address the autism writing because this kinda of novels never ever get it right, so it's not a requirement for me. But holy shit, the author keeps on trying to push the agenda of 'Look at how cute, child like our MC is!' It doesn't even help that we have an additional person aka the sister (in the story) spending every chance she gets (an exaggeration) talking sbout how she views her brother as a child and spoils and is really overprotective of him. This doubles with the way she treats him, making him wear teddy bear patterned pajamas and teddy bear themes clothes. The ML keeps thinking our MC is sweet, naive and innocent too. You literally can't run away from it. Even the MC thinks that the sister's actions are inevitable.

So yeah, 2 stars. I literally can't stomach reading it. Child like themes in Chinese novels like this are normal, I have long accepted it. But reading about it in also every chapter is driving me insane. I'm dropping this.
