The story is good and entertaining esp the 1st half. However, the dating show is repetitive and predictable. I'm looking for something new along chapters, but there's none. The shura field is not exciting.

Anyway, I like the story bc of the mutual respect bet the MC- ML. The crematorium process isn't abrupt too as they slowly realized their fault.

Overall, it is just okay.

I went into this book really hating Riley, only giving it a chance b/c I trust Cassandra's writing and vision for the world she has created. I have come out of reading it with a completely changed opinion of the character and loving the story. I would totally recommend it but start with the 1st book
