I did not have much hope with Xianxia novels as most of them as just MC moving from smaller to larger country every 50 chapters maybe join bigger sect or access some secret realm and in the way slap some faces which again rinsed & repeated never going back to his homeland.I had always wondered why the MC not stay at his homeland and develop this sect. This novel answers that question. The MC is very practical, knows when to press his advantage and when to take a step back. He not just does cultivation but also handles sect duties. I found the novel has good pace and fun to read. Max&Koga has done a good job of translating and the paid chapters are accessible at reasonable price. Totally worth it...
