Story Devlopment: 4.8 STARS. Reads like I am the Fated Villain in a way... It’s got the classic xianxia events with the villainous twist. System is sound and reasonable. Author doesn’t give unfair in power ups to either MC or the Sons of Heaven which is nice! It means MC will have to scheme a little. I even like the fun way the novel starts... really... early on in life haha. It’s got some element of Chinese comedy which is refreshing. The author may have got inspiration from Fated Villain but that’s fine I think. And the Expulsion development... genuinely one of the best story developments I’ve read in a while. A spoiler but you’ll see what I mean haha.Character: 5.0 STARS! This is why you’re here! MC is a villain through and through. Though I have wondered whether he’s just an unreliable narrator and kind of Tsuntsun when it comes to his twin or if im imaging things but otherwise his actions have always been for his own benefit. Ruthless, Scheming, Shameless... come on, what more can y’all ask for here.World development: 4.5 STARS. It’s strong. We’re thrown into a dynasty rebellion pretty early on and I’m sure the OG author will build on it going forward.
