I dropped this novel at chapter 15 because, for one, I felt tricked. There was a romance tag but no f*cking romance until one of the arcs, and only one I say. It doesn't have it anymore but I came into this novel expecting romance and was quite disappointed. There was also a cunning female lead tag, which I removed because this female lead is not smart- she's average. She gets things her way because of cheats. That's it. Furthermore, there was a historical tag which I removed. Historical means HISTORY not some made up dynasty with crazy magic- who put it there? I was expecting some historical accuracy because of it. I feel like I would have actually liked this story had I not had so many unmet expectations from the tags and had gotten impatient waiting for these tropes to show up.The other reason is because it's so god damn substandard. I can handle novels without romance, in fact one of my favorite novel doesn't have romance but that's because it didn't matter to me since the novel was just that great. This novel goes nowhere near that level. The thing is, it uses such formulaic plot for each transmigration and let me just say- the villains are so 2D I want to hang my self. Basically the female lead is always right, the white lotus/green tea b*tch is always against the female lead and the male lead always takes female lead side bc I don't f*cking know it's so BLAND
