It's a tragedy of misunderstandings. Lots of emotional pain and romantic moments of tender love with some combat scenes sprinkled in. Mostly character focused and internal dialogue heavy. Writing's good enough to make you cry when the sad flashbacks occur. The story breaks you, then rebuilds you just to break you again, and you will thank it because there's payoff.MC is not a simp. Just a scarred person with a profound sense of duty to move on forwards with his new life. Second female lead is the best girl.
