it’s a good book, pretty unique in some circumstances, but for the life of me I can’t finish it because of the miscommunications and lying in this book. The one big issue I had (spoiler) :Spoiler
Was with the ML not telling the MC that his legs started working, and keeping the fact that the doctor worked for him away. I understand why it happened, it’s very reasonable, but the one thing I can not stand in books is the withholding of information from the MC. It’s like a pet peeve of mine. The MC does find out about his legs working not too late into the book, barely all that many chapters later, but the anxiety I get from the fact that he didn’t tell the MC made me speed read the rest of the chapters and skip through until this misunderstanding got resolved. This made the whole reading experience sour for me tbh.
[collapse]Therefore I quit the book before I could finish and just cut to the most current chapter to see where it got to. I read this book a long time ago and reread it because I enjoyed it, even with knowing I would quit because of my dislike for misunderstanding as well. Definitely worth reading to an extent, I’d say.
