all the ML's actually have memories of their old life, just like the FL. In other words, they're chasing after the FL not because of actual feelings of love or respect, but because their guilty conscience is chaining them to throwing themselves at her feet in apology. It ruins the whole point of the novel, that the FL is actively changing the world, because now half a dozen hot guys are stalking her (some via 24/7 live feeds of her every movement) and doing a significant part of the heavy lifting for her. Why all of them act so arrogant towards her, or why all of them turned out to be masochist stalkers is beyond me. I also really question many of their morality - despite all of them knowing the tragedy of the demon invasion, all of them decide not to do anything to stop it or even withdraw from the frontline faking injury because they want to spend a little more time with the FL. A man abandoning his duties and willfully letting thousands of people die just so he can flirt with a girl who doesn't even like him isn't cool - he's crazy.
[collapse]I'm dropping the novel after c99, mostly because of the further BS in c96 whereSpoilerthe author felt the "main ML" didn't get enough screen time (TBH, he's been stalking her 24/7 and controlling all the people around her so she doesn't run into other men or any "bad bugs", so he wasn't my top pick anyway IMO), so the author wrote a cataclysmic event where the world ripped itself open right where the FL was standing and dumped her in a place only the main ML could reach. The novel has a ton of plot armor anyway, but this really takes the cake.
