Jarring disconnect between the extremely serious story about trauma and mental illness and the supposedly comedic tone author is approaching it with. "Supposedly" because jokes aren't funny.Terrible addiction of banter with the System straight from the Chinese parody cultivation comics, terrible addition of system itself being more than just a background noise, which ruins any possible immersion.The way people act is like aliens whose only knowledge about human behavior is terrible Chinese comics where any action of any character gets followed by the onlookers narrating and overreacting to everything.It all culminated in a dramatic confrontation of the main character and his siter, and it felt like the worst actor in the world with mental disability doing his Oscar-worthy performance. It you told me it was a cruel parody, I would've believed it.Even little time I spent on reading these extremely short chapters feels wasted.
