Spoiler

It's too soon for me to rate this, because I'm still not sure what sort of person the protagonist is or what direction the story is going. I gave this a try because there was no harem tag (I hate harems, they're completely illogical to me and promise a lack of compelling characters), nor was there a romance tag (which every story on earth seems to require for some reason). That said, it seems he had something of a harem going on in the prologue, where he was saying goodbye to his three female party members and leaving for his own world. I'm hoping they're fond of him because he was the reliable uncle of the party, but that's rarely the case. Either way, he's gone from that world, so that doesn't matter anymore. But.

I'm a bit worried about the author's... critical thinking? By chapter 1, he's back in his apartment in our world. His power is out, but he has no idea yet. He looks at the clock. It tells him the time and the date, informing him that it's one month since he got isekai'd. He looks at his cell phone and sees that it's dead, then plugs it in to charge it. It does. Now, this could work. His clock could have a backup battery function. Those aren't common, but they exist, as I have one myself. His charging station could involve a chargable battery, or be the portable sort. However, the author didn't imply those things at all. When the MC got ready to leave, he grabbed his phone from the charger, and it was fairly charged, but the author didn't say he grabbed the charger. So, it isn't the portable kind? Either way, you can tell the author doesn't sweat the details, but the details are super important in apocalyptic world settings. They can make or break your story.

There's another related point. We know the MC was a special Samurai class when he was isekai'd, but we only learn of his abilities as they're necessary, getting informed as a viewer, rather than a reader who should be in the know. We know he has super strength, he can't utilize magic directly to fight, but can inject it into his body and weapon to 'enhance', has a detection ability that can sense gazes, danger, and different types of lifeforms, and that's all we know right now. Oh, he can also make sure he doesn't catch the 'zombie curse', due to a status ailment protection. That doesn't seem to help others, so far, though. He also has a storage ring that can hold up to 1, 000 kg (oh, no, a limit, whatever will he do?~)

I'm interested in the story, but so far, it's actually pretty standard. MC is super OP, zombies don't threaten him at all, resources aren't an issue because the plague spread too quickly for survivors to go crazy, and there's basically no struggle at all. It's unique points are that he has experience with zombies from the other world, which were cursed based, which implies that a necromancer could be responsible for things in his world, and that he's a genuine middle aged man, who was 35 before he was isekai'd. I'm hoping that means he's not going to have a harem with a first year high schooler, but so far, the writing style makes me suspicious.

It's a three star for me right now. It could go up or down depending on what the author decides to do with his and the first survivor's relationship.

I started reading  because of the high rating, but that was a little hard to read at times. No it did not flow as well as it should. Storyline had potential which is why I tried very hard to finish the story. But, seriously wouldn’t say it’s 9.7

I liked the story and how it was portrayed but I’ll admit: the last chapter made feel very confused.

Lots of confusing grammar errors and plot holes. The overall story is decent with some better editing could even be considered good. The main characters are sometimes pretty annoying. Her mate/alpha isn’t even likable a good portion of the book. And then becomes the ideal cliche boyfriend.

Now I just want to give up on this novel. This is nothing but thrash. Why can't Weston remember that even Stella wanted to kill him still she had stopped him from drinking that tea. Oooo god why is Weston acting so dumb from time to time?

The story line interesting. But the chapter update is very slow. Appreciate if you could upload more chapters everyday.
