This novel is criminally underrated. Though, that's mainly because most of the reviews are from when the novel first came out, so I can't really blame the early reviewers. Anyway, let's take a couple steps back and let me explain this novel to you. I am going to explain the protagonist's character, but nothing too spoilery; you'll just receive the reasons for the main character's madness before she commits genocide instead of after.

The main character was born into an affluent family as a psychopath. She found abusing others fun and was completely unable to comprehend empathy. The only inhibitor to her actions was her mother, who was everything to her. At a young age, her mother passed away and left her with her cold, distant father, the man who ab*sed and cheated on her mother, who immediately remarried and ignored and verbally ab*sed her. The only thing that kept her from attacking others now was her late mother's wishes. The story begins when a package arrives, labelled KSO.

That's all I can say without spoiling anything, but I can assure you about some things. First of all, while the story certainly delivers on what most people came here for: the violence, it doesn't make it all overly edgy. The story doesn't act like the MC is in the right in any way shape or form. She is mentally ill and needs help, and the story doesn't hide that. From what I can tell, the story is developing into a story about the MC going on a journey, making friends, and slowly but surely recognizing and dealing with her illness. Secondly, plot holes. The only glaring plot hole I can remember is how she got her overwhelming fighting ability, which I personally don't think really needs to be explained.

I don't think I have anything else to comment on, but don't believe what the people who haven't read far into the novel say. This novel has a surprisingly good story and level of character depth. Compared to a lot of other vrmmorpg novels, this one has the best story, character wise, I can think of off the top of my head. The world of the game itself is slightly underdeveloped, but still better than most basic vrmmo novels. Anyway I have sh*t to do other than rant in mild displeasure in a review only like 3 people are gonna see, see ya.

I have read the 3 books so far.  I felt like this book was rushed in their love story.  The first two had more drama   I still liked loving the  gamma but the first two had more of a story line.  I was a little disappointed with this one.
