I was intrigued by the premise, plus the cover of Olia hitting her father is cute. As of now, it's a little hard to continue reading. What I like:
- the indignant thoughts of FL regarding her disciple/father
- flashbacks every now and then, not one entire chunk
- cute ML
- side note, let's be real, are we really surprised the ML is the prince of the country that killed our FL
- cute ML
- there's a side couple (but see spoiler/what made me dropped)
- The FL's mother was said to have died. How did someone who died after giving birth come back to life? And she died in the imperial palace, buried in the cemetery exclusive to the royals, but suddenly appeared in the countryside?
- After the dead empress reappeared, it feels like she became the FL...
- Empress has no memory, but she talk back and yell at the emperor
- Generally, it seems like the author doesn't do much research or spend much time in developing the worldview. It wouldn't be a problem if it's meant to be a romcom but it's not... or at least, it wasn't presented as such at the start.
- I felt this way for most of her other novels too
