It’s a bit sad because the people he met in the Hero’s Party were the first people he ever felt affection for, and falls because he hesitates to kill them.
She... cares (?) for her new family, but kind of just wants to coast through life.
Even though they had their differences, she wanted to talk to someone that shared the experience.
So she steals money for the entrance fee to meet the holy sword, Exia.
Exia kinda sucks though. (The sword doesn’t have a gender but I’m going to refer to them as ‘she’) She immediately wants to oust Sion as the previous demon king despite knowing he would probably be killed. She’s also the classic clumsy ditzy squeamish type, which I guess is forgivable since she doesn’t have a brain to think with.
So Sion strikes a deal with Exia, and Exia declares her to be the next hero.
The king of the country wants to betrothe her to his son, but she sidesteps this by saying ‘a calamity will occur’ (it probably will though even if she’s lying LMAO) so they can’t risk her getting pregnant. Instead, he adopts her. Meanwhile, both of his children fall for her. (win*est 😔)
Backtracking a little, her new sister finds out that her parents ‘sold’ Sion to the king and runs away. She finds her vacant expression while they were escorting the future hero through the city. She breaks a little, but in reality Sion was just sleeping with her eyes open.
The main character is a child in a monarchy ruled fantasy world. Obviously there is going to be an academy arc. It was opened by the saint of the hero party and maintained by the sage, who is the only one alive.
She’s quite overpowered anyways, and most people can’t even begin to measure up to her toes, let alone those at the same age. The arc will probably focus on politics and hiding her strength.
[collapse]TLDR: like frieren but baby
