I was absolutely hooked, the plot, the build up, the slow uncovering was all done perfectly, and everything is explained.

The main characters actions and personality make sense, it’s interesting to read how she deals with things, the other characters have nice and huge support, and the ultimate ending makes sense with everything we’ve seen this far.

My only gripe is that, the ending, although it fits, I really wanted more of a bang, I envisioned so many things, and, it didn’t happen, it’s horrible.

Spoiler

Because, after suffering from seeing Lin Qiya exist for so many chapters, she dies a good death but it should’ve been larger, it should’ve been in front of everyone, I really wanted her to suffer. And, really, my biggest biggest gripe, is that it was never revealed that Huamian was huarongyur, the most important identity, the biggest one, all the others uncovered but this one stayed dug into. Really horrible. The conniving manipulative bastard also should’ve faced a worse death, one broadcasted to all the people that believe in him. And the true gender should’ve been exposed, it felt forgotten by the end, almost as if it was a tool just to have some light hearted funniness and to make yi linglong more, sympathetic?, in a way. But, I really wanted that to be revealed since the beginning. Also that archives girl was just reacting, there was some build up but in the end she didn’t even matter. Aaaaaa, the ending, the ending, it was so disappointing to me. I feel like all of this unrevealed was on purpose, especially the huamian = huarongyue part, but i’m still not happy about it, it was extremely anti climactic to me after 600 chapters and all the build up, extremely anti climactic.
