Wow, he stopped his own heart to trick Dio, amazing!

This was one of my favorite feats that any Jojo has done.  Jotaro, when using his guts and power in a creative way that is not immediate can be one of the gosh damn coolest characters ever.  Normally if you hear the plan before it happens, it has to go wrong.  It may still go wrong, but in this case, for the plan to be so dangerous and difficult as Dio shows all the respect in the world towards a Joestar made each step painful and intimidating.  The stakes were high, Jotaro and Polnareff’s lives were in the mix.  And to take a step back, Dio showing so much precaution towards a Joestar who should by all accounts be dead shows how much he respects these motherfrickers.  The fact that he complimented Jotaro like he would Jonathan earlier is no coincidence, he’s right.  Sure, Dio made what he was checking clear, but this plan was still outrageous.  



Jotaro had to manipulate Dio’s paranoia without giving away that he was alive.  So he distracted him.  He caught a freaking bullet which is smarter than my initial assumption that he allowed himself to be shot without showing a reaction; in fact, this ties back to one of the very first things ever established about Star Platinum, that it can catch bullets.  It made for not only a cool moment but a ‘oh yeah it can do that!’ moment which is so much better than a brand new trick.  He stopped breathing and Jotaro even made me cringe and feel pain as he held his own gosh damn heart to stop it from beating, risking suicide for Dio to get close enough.  The intricacy and tension made in this badass scene somehow surpasses the fact that Jotaro frozen in time scared the sh*t out of Dio.  This fight has been brilliant from Dio showing off his power, his repulsiveness with Wilson, thrashing Kakyoin, and these phenomenal moments with Jotaro.  It felt earned to start screaming when we saw Star Platinum finally take Dio by surprise.



Like seriously, first time part 3 has got me going like this... so much exhilaration. A peak for Jojo all together. Let's go!!!

He urgently had to distract DIO from finishing off Polnareff but the slightest movement meant that he'll come back to finish him off. He went with it anyway and he even had Star Platinum forcibly flatline himself so he wouldn't reveal himself to him, damn.

                        Seriously, that's gotta be the creepiest Stand I've seen in this whole series by now.

Kinda made a throwback to Part 2 and the Pillar Men with Star Platinum constricting Jotaro's heart like that.

At least the police came lol. They did nothing but in other anime, the police are nowhere to be found when the city is in chaos
