I decided to get into this because the first chapter had a promising start. The MC seemed like a willful, strong character, but as the story went on... what happened to that? I've read ahead into the raws, nearly finishing the story and then wondered why I wasted so much time on it. I'm not going to spoil anything major but let's just say that the only thing the MC thinks about is the ML. That's what his entire character and existence consists of. He literally never thinks of anything else. He has no hobbies, no desires (aside from the ML, apparently, but their chemistry isn't even that convincing anyway. Why do they even like each other?), no dreams, no personality (and no, cute, which he is described of as often, is not a personality), nothing he cares about outside the ML. All the characters are flat and uninteresting aside from the MC's female friend who is somehow a step up from the MC in that at least she expresses what she wants to do in her future. That's just sad. That's such a low bar; the minimum requirement that makes readers want to root for the MC, and the MC doesn't even clear it. A side character does. It's hilarious now that I'm writing this review.The plot is nothing. There's barely anything aside from MC's fear of his death that drives things and even then, he doesn't take any initiative at all. Things happen to him but he never makes things happen himself. Very boring. Why'd I waste my life on this. I demand my time back.
