I'm going to be honest here and say this out right that I'm really not a fan of mafia related novels but I don't know what took over me and I picked this up but I have to say I'm really glad that I did.First let me clarify that the MC is not your vicious scheming op MC nor is he your silly, naive and dumb MC. He's a normal guy who was a policeman and due to that I'm so proud to say that he's Badass.He's not there just to freeload but actually works his part. He's clever, skilled and a bit dumb at the same time. He's really funny, kind and friendly thus adding comedy to this action based novel. Though I would like to admit that he's a bit childish at times too. But overall he's really likable.Our ML is not your typical possessive, doting, unfeeling ML. He's a normal guy but he's a bit cool you know he has to be cool. MC and ML have such a wholesome and cute relationship. The romance is really slow-burn and their interactions are the cutest things in the novel. They are so straightforward with each other.A perfect couple I might say.The system is actually a baby lol. He's really friendly with MC encouraging him at times, providing advice and giving him small buffs but doesn't make him op. His talks with MC are the best and he helps out the MC a lot too.Ok so I think I have lengthened this too much so lemme just talk about the novel overall now. Its a hype train that makes you want to know what happens next, filled with action, light hearted comedy and a bit of romance. The side characters are well developed. Questions are eventually answered as well. Chapters are long enough to satisfy you. In conclusion, its a novel worthy of binge reading (worthy of your time).Salute to the translator for providing us with such quality translations every week and even notifying us that if we want to avoid cliffhanger after which chapter should we come back for reading.
