I honestly liked Kakyoin’s half far more than Jotaro’s. I think this is largely because I can relate with playing F-zero and watching speedruns. I cannot however relate to old baseball games. That made a disconnect from the most relatable fight in Jojo to one far less. But then, Jotaro took off his cap. Jotaro’s hat coming off is like the equivalent to Zoro putting on his bandana and, quite honestly, the act of taking off a hat is even cooler than putting one on. Maybe it’s the hair, he looks good with that thing off, or the air of vulnerability; a more open look at this beast. But that’s besides the point, it got real and the question of how D’arby reads thoughts became as clear as day. Since I figured out a more complicated way for Atum to read one's soul, it's completely plausible that Jotaro did it in a better fashion than I, and in doing so, he tested Atum’s limits.
Those YES YES YES gifs I see are not edits, it is how D’arby reads one's soul. I suppose yes and no answers are somewhat expected out of someone’s energy or soul, it’s not something you can ask for long answers. And with this, Jotaro has found a way to lie with his soul. Apparently he is cheating but he didn’t mess with the console. My first thought was that Jotaro was saying what he would do and Joseph was playing for him, so the soul and the player were disconnected. But I have to think Joseph’s shocked expression suggests he’s not in on it. However, the page of Jotaro addressing Joseph and stating the kind of throw he would do felt like he was implicitly asking for Joseph’s help at the same time. I’m excited to see whatever he’s doing.
